passeggiata cani parco caffarella

Last October Breon O’Farrell invited people in Rome to a walk with dogs in the Caffarella Park in Rome.

The event was called “The walk with Il Cucciolo in Rome” and the idea was to form a group of people interested in sharing Breon’s philosophy about dog’s training during some monthly walks: the walk was aimed to stay in shape physically and mentally using that time to nurture a good relationship with your dog. The first walk was a success, considering how many people showed up!
In November a second walk followed: same place, same time. Unfortunately the weather was pretty cold and not so many people made it. But still the few arrived got a lesson about the “Magic Word” after the walk.

Nex Sunday, on the 20th of December, the third walk is scheduled, and a lesson is also planned after the walk. The appointment is at the entrance of the Caffarella Park, between Via Latina and Largo Venturi, at 9:30 on Sunday the 20th. There will be coffe and cookies to get warm while registering and paying the 10,00 euro participation fee and it will be a nice occasion to exchange Holiday wishes and get a Christmas gift from the Agriturismo Il Cucciolo.
At this point the newborn project is growing and every event is a way to plan the next one better. It will be helpful to know in advance how many people are going to show up, so please give us a feedback about your desire to participate, through Facebook or through an email at breon@agriturismoilcucciolo.com.
In the New Year we would like to make this an established appointment and we scheduled these possible dates: the 24th of January, the 21st of February, the 20th of March, the 17th of April, the 15th of May…
On Facebook and on the Agriturismo website the events will be created and announced and it is very possible the location will change. In fact we want to move to different Parks: from Caffarella, to Villa Panfili to Tor di Quinto etc.
We are looking forward to have you on Sunday and we wish a Merry Holiday to our friends who won’t be able to make it!
